Inspiration for Career in Arts & Entertainment: Who do you admire? I admire mainstream critics and stand-up comedians.

When did you decide on your chosen path? It's always been natural. I thought everybody wanted to be an actor; I just followed through on it.

What statement do you want to make with your artistry? I think I fall into that category of people who like to see the underdog win...A sympathetic character is always effective - a well written character also. Actors like to work, but we salivate at good writing because there's so little of it. It's all about story... If someone asks me for advice in show business or acting, I tell them to learn how to write or perhaps own a property - may be a novel. Get the rights to it because once "they" want your property, then you have some power and control.

Would you say that you choose your roles based on the story more than anything else? No, I can't say that honestly as an actor. I'm a businessman first of all... Things are going well now so I can afford to turn some things down. Unfortunately, the stereotypes are a little more sophisticated, but they still exist - a lot of drug dealers, etc. That's how a lot of us make our bread and butter…The writing has gotten better.  The characters are multi-dimensional in a lot of cases.
