A Century of Color

For your viewing pleasure and in celebration of Black History Month, BET Movies/Starz has filled its scheduled with a special collection of films, exclusive premieres and original documentaries. Featuring some of Hollywood’s most famous Black actors and actresses during the past 100 years, BET Movies February 2000 programming aims to entertain, educate and inspire.

“We are extremely proud to have the opportunity to present this collection of films, which provides an entertaining and historical look at how Blacks have evolved in film over the years. These films represent an integral part of the rich and diverse heritage of the African American experience,” noted Robert Leighton, president, Encore Entertainment Group.
