Reflect, Relief, Restraint
By Ramona Prioleau
REFLECT
With a profound sense of sorrow I watched the World Trade Center towers implode and
with them my spirit as I wondered in anguish about the welfare of my former
co-workers at the law firm of Brown & Wood (part of the MOSAEC extended
family). Receiving news that a Brown & Wood employee is missing and report after report relaying horrific
estimates of lives potentially lost and afflicted upset me even more. With prayer and the digital pen, the shock
of September 11th’s events has started to wane and a resolve to do something
remains.
RELIEF
While my pledge to mobilize led me to purchase food, bandages and construction masks
in bulk and tote them to NYC’s Chelsea Piers and the Salvation Army, anything
that aids the relief effort is appreciated. Want to help? Contact any of the following:

RESTRAINT
Reports of the devastation in the wake of September 11th’s terrorist attacks saddened me.
Reports of bias attacks on Arabs, Muslisms and East Asians sickened me.
Honor those fallen.
Comfort those afflicted.
Thank those helping.
Restrain from unfairly blaming your neighbors for the criminal acts of a few.
