Spiked Field Greens and Sole

Q: What does the savvy, Crooklyn-bred
filmmaker of Do the Right Thing just gotta have to satisfy his appetite?
A:
Well, brain food of course!
Since the Pisces-thing carries over to Spike's culinary delights, MOSAEC rummaged through
its tried and true recipes and came upon one that's sure to add a little zest to your vid
fest.

SPIKED FILLET OF SOLE
Serves 4
4 sole fillets (fresh or thawed)
Black pepper
Mrs. Dash Salt-Free Original Blend seasoning
Lawry's seasoning salt
Garlic powder
Broiler pan
1. Preheat broiler.
2. Grease broiler pan.
3. Place sole fillets on broiler pan.
4. Sprinkle with black pepper, Mrs. Dash, Lawry's and Garlic.
5. Broil about 6 to 7 minutes depending on thickness of fish. Fish is ready if it's opaque
and flakes easily with a fork.
6. Serve with Mo' Better Vege Toss for a meal with pizzazz (see below).
MO' BETTER VEGE TOSS
This recipe yields enough for seconds and then some
6 cups romaine lettuce, torn
2 cups fresh spinach, destemmed and torn
1 cup arugula lettuce
1 cucumber, sliced
1 cup carrots, shredded
1 cup sun-dried tomatoes or 8 cherry tomatoes halved
1 cup red bell pepper, chopped
1 cup yellow bell pepper, chopped
1/2 cup chick peas
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1/8 teaspoon Mrs. Dash Salt-Free Original Blend seasoning
Balsamic vinaigrette
1 large bowl
1. Thoroughly rinse all vegetables.
2. Toss romaine, spinach, arugula, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, chick peas and
onions in large bowl.
3. Cover and chill for 30 minutes.
