In Jumper, A Jedi Master Gets Revenge on the Sith

Wearing a brown wool ivy cap turned
backwards (Kangol, of course), lanky Samuel L. Jackson strolled into
an interview recently at the Ritz Carlton. With barely a glance at
the grand expanse of New York’s Central Park just outside the room’s
windows, Jackson pulled up a chair and began discussing his recent
role in 20th Century Fox’s Jumper opposite Hayden Christensen (Star
Wars II & III).

In the film, Jackson portrays Roland, the leader
of the Paladins, a group of enforcers sworn to track and eliminate
jumpers – humans who possess the ability to teleport wherever at the
blink of an eye. Dressing down, but stylishly in blue jeans, a black
Henley shirt, a black Adidas jacket with blue stitching and white
Adidas sneakers with black stripes and a hard shell toe, Sam chatted
openly about his role, career and follicle challenges.
