I have not had the opportunity to view this film yet, however I am part of an organization that is interested in bringing black films to the Greater New Haven community. Please be in contact with me, so that we can discuss any possibilities.

Unfortunately, it's been a while since I've seen this movie. I do, however, recall that it was excellently done. I especially appreciated the moments when the star imagined moments with his loved ones. These scenes represented a creativity that I do not believe I've seen in cinema. I don't want to tell too much for fear that I may reveal too much detail for those of you who have yet to view the film. I believed the girlfriend in the movie, you know, the one with the drug problem, gave an Oscar winning performance.

it's a day later and i'm still overwhelmed by this movie. from beginning to end, it's engrossing. i didn't want it to end. only wish there were more masterpieces like this, then i'd be willing to spend the money to go to the movies more often.

This was a good movie for anyone to see. I'm a teen a I really got into it. This movie was sad and enjoyable at the same time. The ending was the part that set if off.
