A very good effort, but marred by a contrived ending.

Hmmmmm....I was not moved nor impressed by this film. Adrian Brody is a talent. Very present in each scene. BUT the dialogue was often didactic and the story felt unrealistic, more like a jungle fever fantasy. The characters (too many if you ask me) seemed contrived especially the "black" white character "Reggae"...
