Malcolm X and spike lee's crooklyn are possibly the best 2 films i have ever watched.
Malcolm X made me fell proud of being a black person. M X was portrayed as an intelligent
and sensitive person,so unlike the interpretation placed upon him by middle class white
america who seen him as a threat to their established racist status quo. it was a film
that stayed in my mind and heart for a long time after. Let's have more black producers
& directors dictating the way movies featuring black people are made.

The reason why I chose the top rating is becuase I think that the movie was an
excellent way to show the type of person he was and what he believed in.

I loved the movie. What was the "symbolism" of the Klan riding off into the
moolight on horse mean?

Oh Dear Pauline,'middle class white america who seen him as a threat to their established racist status quo.' youve just dismissed millions of people with one sweeping generalisation not unlike the same way a Klan member might dismissed all afro
caribbeans as a danger to 'our white women'
